Sony’s first smartwatch to run Android Wear,  the SmartWatch 3 , is finally up for pre-order – yet just at Verizon of all places. It’s  already been listed in the Play Store , but you’ll only be able to get it from there at some (still unannounced) later point. The wearable is priced at $249.99 over at Verizon’s online store, and it’s due to start shipping by October 30. The Sony SmartWatch 3 is the first Android Wear device to feature a built-in GPS sensor. Otherwise, it’s a pretty similar package to the smartwatches we’ve already seen from Sony’s competitors this year. It comes with a 1.6-inch 320×320 transflective touchscreen, a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and a 420 mAh battery. It’s IP68 certified, meaning it brings dust and water resistance to the table too. And it charges using a standard microUSB port. Source content courtesy:blog.gsmarena.com
