Moto 360 gets priced in India

Image
The Moto 360 smartwatch looks like it’s getting closer and closer to a release in India. That’s because it’s been listed by Flipkart, the sole official seller of Motorola’s products in the subcontinent. Furthermore, the Moto 360 has already been priced, even if it doesn’t have a shipping date attached just yet. If you want the round smartwatch, you’ll need to part with INR 17,999 (that’s about $292 or €230 at the current exchange rates). The pricing makes the Moto 360 a tad more expensive in India than in the US (where it goes for $249). For now, only the variant of the smartwatch that comes with a gray leather strap has been listed on Flipkart, but it’s unclear if this will be the only SKU available when it launches or if more variations will be out too. Over in the US, the Moto 360 has been in very high demand, with the first batch selling out within only a few hours. It remains to be seen whether it will enjoy the same kind of success in other markets.

Moto 360 review Eye catcher

Announced back in March, Motorolas Moto 360 is undoubtedly one of the hottest wearable devices of the year. The Android Wear flagship is the first device of its kind to effectively blur the lines between a smartwatch and a regular mechanical timepiece in terms of design. We call the Moto 360 an Android Wear flagship for a good reason. The gadget is the first and will probably remain the only smartwatch developed with direct input from the search giant. Motorola only recently changed ownership from Google to Lenovo. Moto 360 is unique not only because of its appearance, but internals too. Motorolas creation is the only Android Wear device to swap Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 for a Texas Instruments chipset. Check out the devices key features below. Key features 1.56" LCD display; 320 x 290 pixels; 205ppi; Corning Gorilla Glass 3 TI OMAP 3 chipset; 512MB RAM; 4GB of built-in storage 320mAh battery rated at a full day of mixed use; Qi wireless charging with bundled cradle 46mm in diameter...

Motorola Moto 360 to get a gold version soon

Image
The Motorola Moto 360 is the most sought after smartwatch currently on the market and chances it will remain like this at least until the IFA-announced devices hit the shelves. However the US company is hoping its first smart wearable will retain its popularity even after that and is ready to spice it up a bit to achieve it. Motorola posted the following picture on its official website, showing the Moto 360 in three different colors – black, silver and gold. The smartwatch is currently only offered in silver and black, so it could either be a mistake by someone on the Motorola design team, or simply a case of someone jumping the gun on an upcoming announcement. The series of events that came after the image was published makes us strongly believe that it’s a case of the latter, though. After the guys from  Android Police  noticed the promo image, they immediately contacted Motorola for comment. The immediate response? The image was replaced with the one you see on the left bel...
