International LG G2 won’t be getting Android KitKat this month

Image
It turns out that the international version of the LG G2 might not be getting an update to Android 4.4 KitKat this month. In a new tweet, LG Mobile Saudi Arabia apologized for releasing wrong information earlier today. We apologize for the previous wrong tweet regarding G2 Kit Kat upgrade schedule, the date was for upgrading the KnockOn feature to Lii series — LG Mobile Saudi (@LGMobileSaudi) January 15, 2014 Instead of Android 4.4 KitKat for the company’s smartphone flagship, LG Mobile Saudi Arabia announced that the popular Knock feature will make its way to the second generation of L Series smartphones. This is hardly a surprise as LG officially announced the upcoming feature late last month. All in all, users of the international LG G2 will probably have to be a tad more patient before they get the KitKat treatment. In the meantime, this walkthrough video of Android 4.4 on LG G2 should give them a taste of what’s coming.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 not be waterproof

Image
Rumors to date indicate that the future Samsung Galaxy S6 and its variant S6 Edge will not be water resistant as expected; for waterproofing must appear the Galaxy S6 Active. Some news coming directly from South Korea issued by an informant “trusted” digital newspaper “San Yun-Ho”, indicate that Samsung will not follow the example of last year when it introduced in 2015, to the amazement of many, the Samsung Galaxy S5 (and then the S5 Mini) as IP67 device certificate, or resistant to water and dirt, as with the previous range had created only the Galaxy S4 Active with this feature.  With the new generation of Samsung Galaxy S6, which on paper appear to be at least three or maybe four models, it seems that will separate cleanly the characteristics of each new device; there will be a normal model precisely the Galaxy S6 with hardware features renovated and upgraded, a Galaxy S6 Edge with the main feature of the curved panel Edge in more normal model (some rumors indicate pretty sure that...

This could be Nokias answer to ipod shuffle

Image
Once again @evleaks gives us some interesting news. And this time its about Nokia . The picture (above) shows a basic audio device that, he says, is similar to Apples entry-level music player, except that it has NFC to allow easy pairing to either a smartphone or to other speakers and headphones. Theres also a micro USB charging and/or sync port, as well as some very simple controls, although we cant see if there are any buttons on the far side. As to whether this thing -- which may be called the "Guru" -- is just another Bluetooth receiver and DAC for headsets (like Nokias existing BH-221), or whether it has local storage and other features of its own, well probably find out in Nokias event.

IPhone 5s Stocks Said To Be Low Get In The Queue Now If You Want One

Image
News has surfaced that supplies of the iPhone 5s are considerably lower than past releases. Carriers and Apple stores alike have both reported that there will be fewer phones available than usual. AllThingsD has reported that its sources at carrier level have expressed concerns over phones supplies, with one even going as far to say , “We will have grotesquely unavailable inventory.” According to another report, 70-80 percent of iPhones in stock at Apple stores on Friday will be the iPhone 5C, whilst the silver and gold models of the 5S will be very difficult to come by. The cause of this shortage has not been commented on officially but with Apple releasing two new handsets at once, as well as the impending release of iOS7, it’s not really surprising that there could be less iPhones to go around. Another expantion could be that Apple is just saving the bulk of the iPhones for itself, getting more customers to go directly to them when the handset becomes unavailable ...
