We have a possible date of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha Herald. According to the latest rumor has it that Monday, August 4th event. That seems very early, especially because Samsung have not invited the world has forwarded. Enumerated we’re talking about a large 4.8 inch device with an HD resolution (720p), 32 GB of expandable not memory and a fingerprint scanner. And although the Galaxy Alpha must go up against the iPhone 6, we are not talking about the same killer Prime we previously denoted as the Galaxy F. That aircraft had been completely made of metal, with a Quad HD display equipped and run on a Snapdragon 805. Alpha only has a metal edge, the back is still plastic. Alleged Samsung Galaxy Alpha Now we have the Galaxy S5 LTE-A (a variant of the Galaxy S5), but then again, not of metal. So there seems to be a device to sit in the barrel though equally unclear what and when it comes out. Should Samsung Alpha release to take on the new flagship of Apple than the devi...

Were looking for the best phone with a sub-5" screen. At a time when the best features seem to only come with the largest display, theres a strange, almost rebellious feel to it. No need to tell you, were enjoying it. The Apple iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy Alpha and the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact are probably having the time of their life too. These three are not just exceptions to the rule. Theyre making their own rules. Its a sad reality for those who prefer compact - not small! - phones. Each year manufacturers come out with new features but like a movie sequel they feel compelled to go bigger than last time. Its how we ended up with 5.5" monsters being called "phones" (we can name several 5.5-inchers off the top of our heads, they are that popular). The Sony Xperia Z1 Compact opened up a whole new niche early this year by squeezing flagship specs in a smaller body.
