Sony Xperia Acro’s successor, the Xperia HD was announced in August 2012. It is also called Xperia S in other countries. Acro HD is sleek and durable, having highest level of water resistance. The phone sports a full 4.3 inch HD screen with 1280 x 720 p resolution and a high 342 PPI pixel density. Featuring the Bravia engine HD, the phone gives amazing user experience. The phone is equipped with a 12.1 Megapixel camera allowing 1080p High Definition Video Recording. The camera unit gives various options to the user such as 3D capture, Autofocus, Digital Zoom, Image Stabilization, LED Flash and Panorama. Xperia Acro HD also features a 1.3 MP front camera for the user’s video calling need. The Xperia Acro HD has a 1.5 GHz Dual-Core processor and 1 GB RAM, similar to all phones announced this year. It has all standard connectivity options including Bluetooth, GPRS, 3G and Wi-Fi. The internal 11 GB Memory can be expanded with an additional 32GB using a microSD card.
