Review Guardians of the Galaxy – NieuwerwetsTV
Everything Captain America: The Winter Soldier was doing well, doing Guardians of the Galaxy better. It is the most amusing Marvel Films so far.
In 1988, a young Peter Quill at the deathbed of his mother. She reaches out her hand, he refuses. Right after her last breath, he storms out of the hospital, to be a spaceship. Prompt of the globe picked So start the improbable adventures of the self-proclaimed ruimtebandiet Star-Lord (Chris Pratt).
The Guardians are a diverse bunch. Pratt looks like a true adventure hero and gets all the space clumsy to do, though he misses the whole movie no shot. There is much rejoiced at Pratts lead and as long as he can work with nonsense and anticlimactic, it should be alright. The rest of the group is just as stupid and crazy contact: Rocket is greedy and sees violence as the primary solution to his problems; Drax is unworldly and summarizes everything he is told literally; Gamora is mandatory stiff rake – happy Quill teaches her to dance. Great is the glue of the bunch: with its endless strength, patience and calming manta “I am Groot” (the only thing he can cast) he let those rascals of friends see the light
The humor never lets up. Constantly playing the script with expectations and conventions, without doing it in such a way as forced self-conscious in The Lego Movie , Pratts other key this year. It’s nice that director James Gunn must take to effectively bring. Both the jokes and the action on screen time Gunn does not seem afraid to rest in order to facilitate a joke the camera at some point take a scene where Rocket his escape plan revealed does, while Great calmly in the background his own idea of escaping performing
. Because
Gunn gives himself room is also to see how much attention has been paid to the decoration of science fiction, from the costumes to the colorful cosmos. Subtle details and implications unanswered about Quills mysterious origin and bond with The Avengers enrich the setting even more. Rocket and Big Al come just to clear out the computer and distinct space ladies mainly with different skin colors (so we Star Trek never forget): Guardians of the Galaxy is the best movie of all time, so increasing. The imaginative space and jolly good way to approach Guardians compares with Star Wars .
Not everything is amiss. Guardians of the Galaxy remains chained to Hollywood: the 70′s-80′s-and soundtrack has a place in the film, but seems mainly used as easily recognizable, nostalgic agent. Jackson 5 and David Bowie in the room are nice, but rob the setting of their own soundtrack and its own identity. Also starring Pratt I’m in two minds: he can lead a film like this requires more than just comedy? Guardians chooses somewhat the easy route through a lot to undermine tension with a nod, but then the question remains whether all space adventures then serve only as a ploy for Pratts punchlines. It is too great a contrast with all the grandeur of the space villains and space battles. And without giving too much like last: Offers mean little if there is no price in return. Not only Guardians: too often characters for dramatic effect death (Captain Kirk, Wolverine, even Ted) to come back to life again. Then the drama equal worth nothing.
