The Samsung NX1 is a digital camera mirrorless interchangeable lens. Currently, this machine occupies the top of the range brand. Its body is made of a magnesium alloy. It incorporates an image sensor type CMOS BSI APC-C, capable of capturing 28.2 effective megapixels. The autofocus system is hybrid and covers 90 percent box. It has an electronic viewfinder with 2,360,000 dots OLED and AMOLED touch-screen-display with a diagonal of 3 inches that can be tilted for easy composition of photos and videos. In fact, you can record video in 4K ultra high definition 24p or 30p. Video formats are MP4 (HEVC) and AVI (MJPEG).


 Samsung has just released a new version of firmware for this camera with various improvements, most notably those related to the user interface. The designers of the house have been simplified and expanded the possibilities for customization. For example, the user can set the AEL button to lock focus and use manual focus in auto mode during the recordings. You can also change the functions of recording button and reverse the direction of the dials to your preference.

 This new version of firmware, which is already available on the manufacturer’s website, also includes new settings for video mode. You can adjust the audio levels while recording videos choose between two modes of gamma correction and three levels of luminance, besides handling the ISO sensitivity. Have also been improved controls autofocus in video mode. Another novelty is the Trap Shot (trap shooting), which completes the auto shooting mode. Users can adjust the settings so that when a moving object reaches a certain line, the camera automatically takes a photo.


 The NX1 integrated Wi-Fi specifications 802.11b / g / n / ac, along with NFC (Near Field Communication). Samsung NX1 also has Bluetooth. Precisely this latest version of firmware is related to that feature, meaning that users can now activate the Bluetooth like a remote trigger. So the task of using a smartphone as a remote control is facilitated camera, to release the shutter and to start and stop video recording via Bluetooth, rather than Wi-Fi.


 The camera Samsung NX1 has a card slot compatible memory with SD, SDHC, SDXC, UHS-I and UHS-II. Has an HDMI output, USB 3.0 with micro connector, one stereo microphone input minijack (3.5 mm) and a headphone minijack also. It incorporates a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 1,860 mAh which lasts about 500 shots; is recharged by USB port. There you can connect an external flash to the hot shoe. Samsung NX1 weighs about 550 grams, only the body, and measures 138.5 by 102.3 and 65.8 millimeters. The Samsung NX1 is available at a retail price of 1,700 euros (body only).
